I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Master\u2019s degree in mental health counseling and a Graduate Certificate in trauma counseling in 2018. I have a passion for trauma work and use many techniques to help clients effectively process their trauma, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as hypnotherapy. I also believe the mind\/body\/spirit connection is important when working toward self-actualization, so I became a certified level 2 Reiki practitioner to help clients achieve congruence and alignment.<\/p>\n

I work with children as young as 3 years old, adolescents, adults, and families, treating a variety of mental health concerns and challenges. I align most with a Rogerian approach, consisting of unconditional positive regard, empathy, and authenticity for my clients. I realize that not one counseling approach works with every person, so I incorporate many different theories and interventions in my work to best suit your needs and desires. I strive to meet my clients where they are at in a non-judgmental and compassionate way to help them reach their goals so they can live a more congruent, fulfilling life, however that may look for them.<\/p>\n

In my spare time I enjoy spending time in nature, meditating, cuddling with my pets, and spending time with my loved ones.<\/p>\n
